Two-Tone Terracotta Yunomi Pair

A pair of barrel yunomi thrown from warm terracotta clay, with a distinctive two-tone treatment: the upper body and rim carry a white and gray ash glaze, while the lower band is dark iron and charcoal. The boundary between the two is natural and fluid, following the form of the piece. The terracotta clay adds warmth even in the dark areas. Sold as a pair.
