Loop-Handled Globe Vase

A round globe vase with two small pulled loop handles flanking the shoulder, reminiscent of ancient amphora forms. The surface is covered in a flowing olive-yellow ash glaze with areas of white shino flashing where the two glazes overlapped in the kiln. The texture is rough and pitted, full of life from the gas firing.
