Oil-Spot Bowl Set

A set of five matching rice bowls in a classic tenmoku oil-spot glaze: warm iron-brown exterior with a deep black interior where the glaze has developed a dense scattering of golden-amber spots through the firing — an effect produced when iron bubbles rise to the surface and crystallize as the kiln cools. Made as a matched set, these bowls are equally suited to rice, soup, or morning oatmeal.
