Rain Forest Vase
Dark brown-black covers this bottle-form vase, and from its neck, long amber drips descend in dramatic vertical threads — some reaching nearly to the foot, others stopping mid-body. The drips are the event: thick at the top where the glaze gathered around the neck, thinning as they fall, catching and pooling slightly at natural low points.
The form is curvy and full — a wide belly, a narrowing waist, a short neck. The combination of dark ground and bright amber drips recalls light breaking through forest canopy in long threads. A vase with immediate visual presence.
