Steel Shore Chawan

Blue-grey glaze with a faint metallic quality that shows mostly at the shoulder and rim, where the glaze thins and catches the light differently. The surface is bumpy and irregular, the form wide and open.

It reads dark from a distance and shifts cooler and more complex up close. A chawan that rewards being brought into good light.
