Tortoiseshell Serving Bowl

A wide, deep serving bowl photographed from above to show the striking tortoiseshell-like interior: warm golden-amber ground covered with dark iron-black spots and splashes of varying sizes, creating an almost animal-patterned surface. The center pools with a darker, more metallic area. A companion piece to the marbled amber bowl, the two having been glazed and fired together.
