Owl Bookends

A pair of hand-built rectangular owl bookends — playful, sculptural, and entirely unlike anything else in this body of work. Each owl is slab-built with a geometric, near-cubist silhouette: angular head, pressed feather textures on the wings, amber-glazed eyes that glow against the dark iron-black and green body, and small clawed feet at the base. A pair of companions for any shelf of books.
