Dark Ember Vase

Tall and narrow, this vase pulls upward toward a very small opening — the form is more bottle than jar, with its widest point below the midline and a long taper to the neck. The surface is dense charcoal-brown with golden amber mottling throughout, small bright points against the darker ground.

The form alone would hold attention: it has an uprightness and seriousness that feels particular. The surface adds warmth to what might otherwise be austere. A vase for a single stem, or for nothing — it holds its own either way.
