Wood-Fired Yunomi

A single wheel-thrown yunomi from an earlier period of the studio practice. Part of the tradition of making yunomi in quantity — small, comfortable cups meant to be used daily and worn in over time. The wood-fired surface gives each piece an unrepeatable character that deepens with use.
