Encrusted Iron Yunomi

A wide barrel yunomi with a heavily encrusted iron glaze — rough, pitted, almost geological in texture. Where ash settled during firing, it melted into olive-green rivulets cutting through the dark iron ground. The rim is thick and uneven, suggesting a piece that resisted refinement and came out better for it.
