Iron Yunomi with Amber Spots

A single wheel-thrown yunomi in a warm barrel form glazed with a rich dark iron wash. During firing, the iron crystallized into scattered gold and amber spots across the surface — like lichen on dark stone. The cup fits comfortably in the palm, the weight balanced and satisfying.
