Amber Iron Yunomi

Iron dominates both of these yunomi — a deep, dark ground layered with amber and gold where the glaze has pooled and shifted during firing. The two are similar in color but different in how the glaze has moved: one more amber toward the base, the other reading darker overall. Both have an interior that is warm and dark, inviting in the way an old stone cup is inviting.

The forms are compact and rounded, solid in the hand. These are cups made for regular use — the kind that develop a further richness as they age alongside whoever uses them.
