Stamped Iron Yunomi

A barrel yunomi in a rich dark brown iron glaze with cream ash drips from the rim. At the base of the cup, a chrysanthemum has been stamped into the clay before firing — a traditional decorative mark that appears as a pressed design through the glaze. A piece that rewards examination from every angle.
